"King"

The Old gods are visited by a specific individual when they regress into the grotesque beings they are now. "The King" was what you would call the leader of the Old gods and the primogenitor. The most powerful and knowledgeable of all the Old gods. While most Old gods lose all their followers, "The King" still has some, the other Old gods. The celestial power is gone, but the magical power still runs strong in him.
"The King" was known for being both benevolent and savage. Usually holed up in a small hut near a village where he did his "experiments." Some even say he used to be a human turned god. No one truly knows the origin of how he lost or gained his divine powers, all they know is he is to be feared in battle.
