Bahamut is undeniably the King and oldest Ancient Dragon in all of Baltharos. With his time of hatching being unknown to any text or living being he is the ultimate Dragon of legends. Bahamut is naturally a platinum dragon, however, due to his age and status he has trancended normal Metallic dragon status. All metallic dragons look to Bahamut as the defacto King of Dragons. Tiamat, and some chromatic dragons, are the only other dragons that don't see Bahamut as the King of Dragons. Tiamat, Bahamut's evil sister, has challenged Bahamut for his throne. There were numerous clashes that would happen in ancient times. Their battles would cause the land and skies to scream with lightning and earthquakes. Bahamut has been challenged by Tiamat a total of 3,744 times. Bahamut has yet to lose a single time. In the modern era there have been no clashes between Tiamat and Bahamut. Due to Tiamat's sealing of course. Bahamut is said to be a benevolent King and one who actually enjoys humans and what they can do in their puny life. Bahamut likes to mainly roam the magical lands of Baephios. Unlike other dragons, Bahamut does not have a hoard of treasure at all. He doesn't see the need of such things and prefers to build connections with individuals rather shiny objects. Bahamut loves to visit small villages in the middle of nowhere to give advice and help out new adventurers or give veteren adventurers an interesting quest.
