Hotel Jude
Nestled into the heart of South Baltimore, Hotel Jude is a beautiful old stone building with a proud history. Built by a Catholic man in the 1930s, the inside was recently renovated. The exterior is charmingly old-fashioned: grey stone powerwashed to mirrored perfection, reflecting the sun and moonlight, day and night. The interior is a mix of honey-colored wood paneling and white marble floors, with pillars up the center, framing the grand staircase (and hiding the elevator bank to the left and the check-in desk on the right). There's also a dance hall and restaurant included within the building, with plans to build out and include a pool. But for right now, the quaint hotel mainly services wedding events, vow renewals, and anniversary celebrations. Essentially, it is more known for its events than for its rooms, one floor of which are outfitted for Kindred use and off limits to guests.
