Criminal Activity

It is a day of turmoil for the city, one riven by responses to the street racing videos. People are scared. Some are excited. Acceptance of the supernatural has risen to new heights; people have begun to forget they live in 2021, reverting to common superstitions to protect themselves. People go to work wearing cloves of garlic, or can be seen carrying wooden stakes. Still others try to find these vampires, obsessed with becoming one of them. The authorities still deny any existence of the supernatural, and the Mayor releases a statement calling the video a hoax. But people have begun to believe, in spite of what they are told.
