The Old Port

Yes my friend, this is one of those odd words where you are required to always use the word the in front of it. And it's not just a soft the, that e really need to be emphasized. Thee. Really strong now. Good.   With the proper conventions being fully understood by all parties we may now proceed.   Those who worship the great moon Narrah say that the she gave birth to humans. Unclear is how they came down to Lloegyr. Yet here lay their descendants, sleeping peacefully under her nightly glow.   Narrah is still worshipped today by many. So it is possible she sent her children down a stairway to earth to make it here. Others argue these ancient ancestors had ships capable of traversing great distances. And, interestingly enough, coming out of CAPTITAL CITY are some artifacts that could lead to a rediscovery of that technology.   Dubbed The Old Port by humans, the goblin have only just begun excavation. Humans kingdom eagerly trade for remnants out of this site. The more they can get their hands on the better focus their diviners have to probe the mysteries of the The World Spine and to be the first to come up with a major discovery.   There technically is no one particular The Old Port. It's more of a theorized thought. A possible city that may exist somewhere. There could be many ports that were capable of travel to and from the moon. But whichever one gets discovered first becomes The Old Port. The rest imitators. Backwash from other kingdom's swill. But, hey, even if you're second or third what matters is you finished the race.   The goblins generally go along with the naming nomenclature. They're more interested in selling the artifacts and to be fair, there were orginally human cities so they should probably maintain naming rights. They do pronounce the 'The' wrong. As the and not The. Disgusting creatures. The author believes they do it just to be rude. Just to provoke a response.
