Chapter 27. Returning to The Martikovs

General Summary

1) last patrol went by. Adrian tells us that is the last group. 2) chase them down and kill them(?) 3) leave the hill and speak to the ghost. He offers his spear to Ichabod as thanks. It’s back up the hill. 4) Ichabod and crew minus Esper looking after the prisoner go back up 5) team tries digging the cairn up and works slowly. While they do this a dot in the sky starts moving closer. It’s a flaming flying horse 6) sensing not enough time, Ichabod blasts the cairn open and grabs the spear. The figure on the horse flying hundreds of feet in the air is strahd. They leg it. 7) strahd lands on the top of the hill. Everyone scarpers. 8) travel back to the winery. Welcomed back by wine dad 9) wine dad offers them dinner and answers questions. 10) wine dad says he has a network (of wine folk) and they are at our disposal (or something) 11) DCBC reveals his very useful information given by Eva. 7 beds lie empty etc etc. Davian info:
