This coin creates an unbreakable magic link with a single creature when they drop a drip of blood upon it. Once linked, their name is magically inscribed on the blank side. When then coin is flipped and untouched until landing, it shows one of the following;

• If it lands with the skull face up, they are dying or in a life-threatening position.
• If it lands with their name side face up, they're in no danger and doing well.
• If the coin lands on its edge, they are dead.
