Mother Night
Rival to the Morninglord, many Barovian's believe that the Mother Night is responsible for keeping the skies dark and granted Count Strahd his powers. Worshipers of Mother Night are not open about their faith due to fear of retaliation. This is mostly due to many creatures of evil nature had proclaimed to worship Mother Night in the past, thus making association with the goddess to be a "sign of evil."
