You first saw Rahadin deliver Strahd's Letter of condolence to Ireena shortly after your arrival to Barovia. Your first true encounter with him was another matter entirely. While he was among your ambushers, Rahadin seemed to focus his attacks against you rather than T.O.D.D., who was the focus of two unknown vampire women. A formidable swordsman, Rahadin was able to strike quickly with his Scimitar. However, whenever you were close to him, you heard the screams of people dying in your mind. At times, the screaming was so deafening that it caused you physical pain. It wasn't until later before you realized that all that screaming was from all the people that Rahadin killed.
