Notable events performed by the PCs.
Two and Proteus arrive in Barovia for the first time to steal the Sunsword. They meet Snowball and assault Castle Ravenloft, managing to come out of it successful. Two and Proteus returned home with the Sunsword in tow, leaving Snowy and Ireena to sort out the rest.
Six months pass in Barovia before Two and Proteus return at the behest of Snowball. Using powerful magicks, Snowball was able to bring his friends back through a portal to help him search the dangerous ruins of Berez for his Master, Rudolph Van Richten.
While searching Berez for signs of Van Richten, the party alerts the witch Baba Lysaga to their presence, and an epic battle ensued. The party was ultimately victorious, slaying both the witch and her walking hut.
Proteus takes an entire day and consecrates the evil witch's hut in the name of Kord, turning it into a safe place for him and his allies.
While on a diplomatic mission to Krezk with his sister, Ireena, Ismark Kolyanovich is brutally slaughtered by the Abbott. Ireena manages to flee to safety, and Ismark's body is stolen by the Abbott for experimentation.
Ireena manages to flee from the Abbott's rage to Argynvostholt. There, she begs Snowball and his friends to help her retrieve her brother's body and exact revenge.
The Abbott is brutally slain by the party for his crimes. On his body they find the Abbott's personal journal, and an invitation to dinner addressed to the party from Strahd Von Zarovich.
The party returns to the Burgomaster's house, where Proteus performs a grueling ritual and is able to bring Ismark back from death.
From the Burgomaster's house, the party packs up and returns to Argynvostholt. After much debate, and a night spent there, the party makes the decision to travel to the Amber Temple and learn some answers. Unfortunately, Two and Proteus are summoned back to their own plane before they can leave.
Distraught by Ireena's fate, the group decides to force their way back into Barovia again to help. By the time they return, three weeks have passed, and Argynvostholt is under seige by Strahd's minions. Ireena fled, hoping to draw the army away.
Following a tip from an entity appearing to be his father, Proteus convinces Two to fly him out to Luna Lake to search for the missing Ireena. Instead, they find Lord Strahd von Zarovich, who disabled Proteus and took Two as a prisoner.
18 hours later, the party shows up at Castle Ravenloft and mounts a desperate rescue attempt. They succeed, driving Strahd away and destroying his Crystal Heart.
Proteus, furious at Strahd for stealing Two, shatters the crystal heart floating in the tower of Ravenloft as a symbolic message to the vampire.
Following a clue from Master Van Richten, the party makes the treacherous journey up Mount Ghakis to find the rumored Amber Temple. They manage to slay an onslaught of wolves sent by Strahd, and tame the Roc of Mount Ghakis to bear them up to the top.
The party spends the rest of the evening in the company of the friendly lich, who claims to be the Keeper of the Great Library. They study much on the history of Barovia, learning more about the Ladies Three and the Dark Gods locked within the Amber Temple. While here, Snowball learned more of ancient Order of the Silver Dragon, and was gifted a shield and a journal from one of the Knights who made his way to the temple long ago.
Much to Snowball's surprise, the group finds his brother Darius camped out at the Amber Temple. He is overjoyed to see Snowball, claiming to have been looking for him, and agrees to join the group.
Following a tip from the friendly lich, the party makes their way back to Berez to attempt to reconsecrate the shrine of the Swamp Fane. They dig up the body of Baba Lysaga and carve her foul heart from her body, taking it to a nearby stone circle and offering it to the Swamp Fane alongside the green life gem they found in her hut. The heart was accepted, and they were shown a vision of the past, detailing how Strahd stole the power of water and ultimately used it to drown the village of Berez.
