Fiona Watcher
A staunch ally of the devil
The Watcher family name has existed for hundreds of years, and it has been revealed to the party her loyalty to Strahd von Zarovich.
She is a scheming woman who was revealed to be growing and harboring a cult.
She wishes to replace Baron Vargas Vallakovich as the burgomaster of Vallaki, and wished for the death of his right-hand man, Izek Strazni, in some attempt to put plans into motion.
The party realized that she was directly conspiring with Count Strahd, leading to their first encounter with the Dread Lord. He took away Lady Fiona's spy Ernst Larnak, seemingly as a snack.
Fiona conspired to wed her young daughter, Stella, to the baron’s son, Victor, as part of a plot to gain a foothold in the baron’s mansion, (as revealed by Father Lucian Petrovich) to the party, but this seems to have failed, and no one has seen Stella ever since. The party did, however, hear meowing and clawing of a human girl within one of the rooms of the Watcherhaus.
She also has two adult sons who seemed to know about their mother's plots but weren't particularly involved or really cared-- they only revealed the crucial information that they knew to the party after it had been revealed that Lady Fiona had been preserving the body of her deceased husband in her bed.
Lady Fiona was in possession of the Tomb of Strahd, which the party managed to recover from her estate.
It was also revealed that Lady Fiona Watcher made a payment to a group of Vistani that live south of the city to have the party killed, but this seems to have failed due to the party saving the young Arabelle from a mad fisherman.
