A familial coven of three night hag witches led by Morgantha Wormfinger, with her daughters Marge and Belle. The trio occupied the vacant Old Durst Mill and was using it as a base of operations for creating their signature "Dream Pies" from the dreams of kidnapped children.
History
Morgantha disguised herself under the persona of "Granny" to sell pies in Vallaki and Barovia Village. The exact purpose of these pies, besides for acquiring gold through their addictive nature, is unclear.
Morgantha also possessed a Broom of Flying, which was acquired by the party after they defeated the family.
The family appeared to fear and dislike Strahd, who did not hesitate to attack them.
Death
The party stopped by the Old Durst Mill seeking shelter on their way to Vallaki with Ireena, and attacked the witches when it became clear they were the ones who had stolen the children, including Gertrude.
Marge was impaled by Strahd's animated sword, saving Ireena and Mills from strangling vines. Belle was disintegrated by Trid with a powerful guiding bolt spell. Finally, Kyt killed Morgantha by spearing her off her broom with a javelin.
