Bildrath's Mercantile

As you approach the building, the first thing you notice is that the windows are all brazenly uncovered, in stark contrast to the rest of the village. Instead, light spills out from behind heavy, red curtains, pooling around the base of the building and creating a hazy glow where the light meets the mists.

Bildrath's Mercantile is a shop in the village of Barovia. It was named after the owner of the establishment Bildrath Cantemir . Both inside and outside Bildrath's Mercantile puts on airs. The floor of the shop is full of a number of well decorated tables, while shelves lines the walls. Unlike the majority of the village, light fills the building, with lamps sitting on small tables beneath each of the windows as well as hanging lamps elsewhere in the shop.

During one of the first nights The Party was staying in Barovia, Ilja Draugr snuck in at night and stole from the store's strongbox and supplies, getting away with it scot-free.
