Gabriel Andral
Dawnmaster, Saint Gabriel Andral
Dawnmaster and leader of The Children of the Morninglord in Barovia, an old sect of Lathander worship originating from the ancient countries of Barovia and The Holy Empire of Valentia. Gabriel was a kind and devout man, caring deeply for the people under his jurisdiction.
Gabriel was given to the Church of the Morninglord as a young child by his family, who were devout Lathander worshipers. Andral grew up in the church and quickly raising through the ranks, leading him to become Dawnmaster and being attached to the retinue of Strahd von Zarovich during his conquest and the following settling of Barovia. In the aftermath of Strahd's victory in the valley, Gabriel was granted the role of the head of the churches in Barovia.
Around the time of Strahd's turn Gabriel took in the men that had fought Strahd and fled to Vallaki. Gabriel miraculously withstood each and every attempt Strahd made to come inside, he declared that so long as he remained in his home, people would be safe from the evils of Strahd. Both Andral and the guards ended up living out the rest of their lives in Andral's house, never once leaving. They grew their own food using potted plants and lived entirely communally. Eventually, they all grew old and passed away, never leaving the house.
Gabriel Andral was posthumously pronounced St. Andral and the house of Gabriel became blessed and so long as St. Andral's bones remain on site, the church is consecrated.

Recent events
The party upon arriving in The City of Vallaki heard that the bones of St. Andral had gone missing. The party investigated the dissapearance leading it back to the gravekeeper, Milivoj, who was hired by Arrigal to steal the bones. Milivoj however, being no burglar, had hired the help of Bluto Goranov. Bluto stole the bones and delivered them to Arrigal, who then hid the bones away in Henrik van der Voort's shop. Here the party encountered 7 vampire spawn, one of which held the bones. The party gave chase but was not fast enough, encountering Strahd who had killed Father Petrovich and shortly after crushing the bones. No longer making the Church of St. Andral blessed.
