The Blood of the Vine Tavern

A single shaft of light thrusts illumination into the main square, its brightness looking like a solid pillar in the heavy fog. Above the gaping doorway, a sign hangs precariously askew, proclaiming this to be the Blood on the Vine tavern. The main, immediate difference you find walking inside is the temperature. The two fireplaces on either end of the main room burn bright and hot, chasing away the chill from outside. There are very few people here, besides your group, so finding a place to sit will not be a challenge.

The Blood of the Vine Tavern is one of the few establishments in the village of Barovia that still remains opened. The tavern is owned by and the bar is manned by Arik Lorensk.

Because of the lack of travelers the tavern mainly served the population of Barovia, this is why it's usually calm inside serving a handful of people at most.

Architecture

The inside of the building is mainly built of wood, just like the furniture which was also made out of wood and crude and simple in design. There were two fireplaces in the establishment meant to keep the place warm, which the patrons usually clung around.
