A fisherman from the local fishing hamlet who is down on his luck. Known in Vallaki as a loud drunkard and gambler. The town guard are after him for ruining a recent holy event - the Wolf's Head Jamboree.
Down on His Luck
After losing the last thing keeping his life intact, his wife, Bluto fell on hard times. Harder than usual. Drinking and gambling binges merged into one never-ending self-destructive bender. This culminated in an embarrassing debacle where the absolutely blind drunk fisherman ruined the Baron's festival proceedings. Yelling incoherently about luck and charms and the lake, he disrupted the holiday and earned the scorn of the town guard. Somehow escaping imprisonment right there he went home but not before noticing black haired girl that used to visit the orphanage. Convinced she was a masked vistani Bluto abducted her with the intent on last attempt at changing his luck. He would resort to an old story he had somewhere about an ancient Lady of the Lake. A forgotten old goddess who used to receive offerings in the unwritten past. Bluto felt that this could save his miserable life. As for the innocent vistani? She would not be missed (probably). And he would make it up to those wretched people with his new found wealth. Surely there would be some left after a bit of dice.
The Punishment should fit the Crime
When the Outsiders made their way to the lake they found Bluto in the act of throwing the bound body of Arabelle into the lake. After miraculously getting to the 'ritual' boat in time and capturing the Bluto, the party were disgusted with the drunkards crime. They decided that a lost soul such as this only deserves the fate he intended for the uninvolved vistani girl. In a solemn procession Pece, Styx and Eon rowed Bluto's boat towards the center of the lake. He struggled but ended up being bludgeoned unconscious by the priest. Finally Bluto's miserable life ended with solemn slump into the still lake that was once his livelihood.
