Castle Ravenloft

Castle Ravenloft is the seat of power for Count Strahd Von Zarovich, the vampire lord. It is from here that he watches over the land of Barovia.  Castle Ravenloft is a maze of corridors filled with nightmarish creatures and sights. Rarely does one enter the castle and live to tell the tale.

Architecture

The castle is made almost entirely of stone, and features multiple spires that stretch hundreds of feet into the air.

Defenses

Castle Ravenloft has no shortage of defenses. First and foremost are the 90 foot walls that surround the keep, these walls have both archer towers, and slits for archers to attack from the interior. Inside the castle is home to many creatures of the night and servants of Strahd, as well as the deadly count himself. If that alone is not enough to deter unwanted visitors, the castle is also full of traps both mechanical and arcane, many of which could easily kill any regular man or woman.

Tourism

Only fools enter the castle without an invitation, and those who do rarely leave alive.
