Meeting Achardirion
General Summary
The Party arrive at a small cottage in the woodlands near the fishing village of littlecall.
Hauflin recognises that this isn't so much a home as a Druid rest stop, a place travelling druids can stop for a time.
Isttion and Istiel announce themselves and the party enter at beckoning of a deep male voice inside "Come in, come in, no point standing out in the rain."
Inside a large broad chested elf approaches the two elf kids with a smile on his face and his arms outstretched as if to give them a hug, but when he is close to them he instead grabs them each by an ear and drags them over to the nearby table forcing them to look at something on the table. "Would you explain to me what the hell you thought you were doing." he yells at them. The too yelping in pain as he still has hold of their ears rattle off a disjointed and confused explanation of events. On the table is a copy of a newspaper with the headline Terrorists attack Tansairda. A group of unknown individuals destroyed a large part of the Tansairda arena and lead a rampage of animal through the streets last night. Achardirion still holding the two elves by the ears greats the party "ah sorry where are my manners, I'm Achardirion, I must apologise for my students actions, who might you be?" The party introduce themselves and with Achadirion able to get a good look at them He points out a wanted poster on the table reading. "Wanted: Dead; an unknown dwarf sorceress; for the crime of summoning anathema, horrors and other extradimentonal abominations; last seen in the company of a Troll, an elf and a windling: Belived to be extremely dangerous. reward 10,000 gold, 5000 gold for each of her companions, the windling is wanted alive." there are crude sketches of the party's likeness. Hauflin is impressed with how much Astra is worth, the group discuss what lead them to be wanted and Achardirion reveals that he is aware of the things that have been going on and outlines his desire to change the laws regarding animal rights and protection of nature. Hearing this the party give him the documents they had stolen from Elgrim's home. He says that it will be a great help but would not hold up in court, the best thing he can think of is to get them published and distributed, but he confesses, he doesn't have the money from such a venture. The party put their heads together and each donate 1000 gold and Hauflin secretly donating his gambling winnings as it is a cause he can get behind. Thanking them Achardirion offers to teach them what he can that night and advises that the mountain pass would be the best way to get home avoiding bounty hunters.
