Aikhons seas the force and the power of the Kraken first hand... only a dozen of a crew of 50 plus survive from the boat being ripped apart.

High above the sky, swerving now to the south of the Bloom, Ilknar is warned and protected from Teyos' magic as three more mindflayers are found and then killed. Valia finds mindflayer living quarters, and a telepathic presence greets the boarding party, the warriors of the Call. A parlay and an ask for peace; we leave and never have to see each, or we join forces, for the fey Saerah cannot be trusted.

Valia breaks away, and finds the nautiloid is closer to the Call.

The Mindflayer captain leads the Scallywags below, but Vali's revving death tearing into the hull of the Nautiloid, with abandon, could not be tolerated...

This battle with the captain and his officers, all aberrations, is psychically overwhelming, and Ilknar falls. Mila's Steel Wind Strike, and G's confusion magic helped turn the fight aboard the nautiloid.

Roland runs below deck, to the brain of the nautiloid vessel.
