Yorakteche is a "weak, warlike country" to the northwest of New Crobuzon.

Yoraketche loosely controls a large region of steppes. The country's internal politics are dominated by ancient tribal feuds, and it has very little political power.

Economy

It is known for its "brave but rather stupid" warrior-riders, who are also the country's primary export in the form of mercenaries, often hired thousands of miles away.
