Dokk's Still

Dokk Grimrock was a hero, I tell ye! None can convince me that he didn't do one of the greatest services ever to us dwarves. His amazing still produced the greatest of ales, or so I hear. Unfortunately, he was not only a hero, but a damn secretive one. Once he died, the secret of the creation of his still died with him. Ye'd think he could've shared it with someone, but the fool just couldn't bring himself to share the knowledge.    Damn shame, if ye ask me.     -Toke Axegrind, former dwarven bartender

Utility

Dokk created this for the sole purpose of distilling dwarven ale.

Manufacturing

Dokk built this still in secret, using mithril as part of the process. It is guessed that it took him several weeks to build and perfect, since he told everyone that he'd be gone for some time, and when he returned, he informed everyone that he had invented something special, and a new business was born.
Inventor(s)
A dwarf known as Dokk Grimrock invented this popular still, keeping the secret of its creation to himself. While he insisted that it was the still that gave the ale he distilled its superior flavour, there are those who believe that he also used a recipe for the ale that was of his own making. Sadly, the chances of finding the truth to this are slim, as Dokk was killed when the cave in which he was making more ale collapsed due to an explosion that is believed to have been caused by the distillation process.
Access & Availability
This still is no longer available, the secret of its making lost to history.
Complexity
The brief glimpse that a very few dwarves got at the still attested to the fact that it was quite a bit larger than any they had seen before. It had a great deal of pipes and tubing, along with a number of levers and buttons. There were those who suggested that some of these were just for show to confuse those who saw the still and might want to replicate it.
