You create an arcing whirl of bright color around you. Each creature within range must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes 2d8 radiant damage and is blinded until the end of your next turn. On a successful save, the target takes half damage and is not blind.
At Higher Levels. When cast at level 2nd or higher, this spell deals an additional 1d8 damage for each spell level above 1st.
