Duration: 10 minutes.
You touch a structure, such as a bridge or building, a vehicle, such as a boat or carriage, or a piece of artwork, such as a painting or statue, and grant it temporary and limited sentience, giving them the ability to communicate with you telepathically.
The structure knows details about its construction, layout, architect, and events that have occurred within it or within 30 feet of it, though many have trouble remembering smaller details more than a month past.
This spell does not grant you any authority over the structure, or affect its disposition of you. Structures generally are loyal to their creators, and wish to be used for the purposes they were created, such as a theater enjoying performance or a jail enjoying the incarceration of others within it.
The structure may be able to perform tasks at your request, up to the DM’s discretion. It cannot get up from its foundations and move, but if it has moving parts within it such as a door, drawbridge mechanism, or wheels, it can move them while under the effects of this spell.
