You create a wave of necrotic energy through creatures in a 20 foot sphere, causing them to wilt and wither. Each creature must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, target's take 4d8 necrotic damage, or half as much on a successful save. Creatures who fail their saving throw cannot regain hit points by any means until the end of the start of your next turn.
At Higher Levels. When cast at higher levels, this spell deals an additional 1d8 necrotic damage per spell level above 3rd.
