You call forth a small sliver of the Plane of Shadow, draining the light and warmth from the world around you. All creatures within range must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the target takes 2d6 Cold damage, or half as much on a successful save.
Until the start of your next turn, the spell's area becomes magical darkness. If this spell overlaps with an area of light created by a spell of 2nd level or higher, the darkness is dispelled.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage increases by 1d6 and the spell level of magical light required to dispel it increases by 1 for each slot above 2nd
