Make a ranged spell attack, on a hit, the target takes 8d6 lightning damage. For the duration of this spell, the lightning bolt circles around the target, crackling menacingly. At the end of each of the target's turns, it must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save it and another creature within 15 feet of it each take 2d6 lightning damage.
