You tap into the latent magics of a corpse you can touch. Upon casting this spell, you gain knowledge of the target's known or prepared spells. Choose one of these spells of equal or lower level to the spell slot used to cast this spell. Once before this spell ends, you may cast this spell without expending a spell slot, using the target's spell save DC and Spellcasting modifier. After you cast that spell in this way, you may cast it additional times by expending a spell slot as normal until this spell ends.
If the spell you gained from this spell deals damage, you convert half of the damage dealt to Necrotic damage.
