Rozeg's Shattered Mirror
4th-level Conjuration
Casting Time: 1 action
Range: 60 feet
Components: V, S, M (A hand mirror worth 100g, which this spell consumes)
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 minute
You raise a mirror to a target you can see in range, shattering it and fracturing their soul along with it. The target makes a Charisma saving throw. On a failed save, the target creature takes 4d10 force damage, and an illusory duplicate of them appears in a space you can see within range. For the duration of the spell, for the purposes of targeting the creature exists in both the space it occupies, and the space with the duplicate. Whenever a creature makes an attack roll against the target, the attacker rolls 1d6 and adds the result to their attack.
The target of this spell cannot take damage from the same source twice, such as if both it and it’s duplicate are in the range of a fireball spell.
When the target reaches the same square as it’s duplicate, they merge together and this spell ends.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a slot of 5th level or higher, the spell grants an additional 1d8 temporary hit points for each spell level above 4th.
