Transmutation cantrip   Casting Time: 1 action   Range: Self (5-foot radius)   Components: S, M (a melee weapon worth at least 1 sp)   Duration: 1 round   You imbue the weapon used to cast this spell with holy power, granting it special properties for one attack. You touch the weapon used in the spell’s casting, granting it the following properties.
  • It sheds dim light in a 5 foot radius.
  • If it isn’t already, it becomes magical for the purposes of overcoming damage resistance and immunities.
  • It gains the thrown (20/40) property, or increases its range by the same amount if it already possesses this property.
As part of casting this spell, make a melee or ranged attack with the imbued weapon against one creature within range. On a hit, the target suffers the weapon attack’s normal effects. If thrown, the weapon magically flies back to your hand afterwards. At the end of this weapon attack, the weapon loses all properties granted by the spell and the spell ends.   At Higher Levels. At 5th level, the melee attack deals an extra 1d6 Radiant damage to the target on a hit, this damage roll increases to 2d6 at 11th level and 3d6 at 17th level.   Spell Lists. Cleric, Druid, Warlock
