Nixon the Crow
Lord Nixon Merica
Nixon the Crow, known as Nixon of Merica in life, is a dark wraith driven by vengeance. He appears at night to those who are ready to do everything to right a wrong done to them in the guise of a smoking slender man wearing a wide-brimmed hat and having a raven skull for a face. He makes them promises of power and bloody revenge, if only they allow him into their heart until the deed is done. At first the host's burning hatred is channelled at those who truly deserve it. But much like a wildfire, his hatred soon burns out of control and even the smallest slight becomes worthy of the greatest punishment. Salvation will only come when either Nixon is driven out, or if his host burns out.

Personal history
Born into clan Merica, Nixon was a young elf and warrior destined to one day become advisor to the king of Wearwood, as his family had done for generations. He and his clan lived respectable lives until the MacMillan clan rose to prominence to the Wearwood. When Nixon's uncle died, his father was passed over in favour of Robert MacMillan. The Merica swore that they would regain their title, no matter the cost. A plot to assassinate the king's wife was discovered, and evidence suggested that they Merica were behind it and were planning to pin it on the MacMillan. The king kicked them out of Wearwood, never to return to their ancestral halls again. Nixon, filled such hate which only young man can feel, swore vengeance for what he perceived as an elaborate plot by the MacMillans to rid themselves of the noble Merica.
He travelled to the Snoll region in Svellbjargheim, searching for Wallace MacMillan, heir of the MacMillan clan. He followed closely upon Wallace's footsteps as Wallace adventured across the region. He caught rumours of a planned power grab by the Conclave of Gero Drakar, and wrote their leader Pontiff Mortarious that he was willing to lend them a hand in exchange for them helping him kill Wallace MacMillan. But he was left ignored. While traveling east of Ermylla with nothing on him but his leaf cloak and Othlesti steel blade a cave ceiling collapsed under his feet. Nixon broke all his bones and was left paralyzed from the neck down. He could do nothing but swear bloody vengeance upon Wallace and his clan while he slowly froze to death. His hatred was so intense that his soul did not fly into the sky, but bound itself to the very instrument that Nixon had planned to use to exact his revenge.
For nearly a century Nixon's soul was locked in his sword with nothing but his thought to keep him company. Then finally a powerful warrior, a geckoman called Tokeh, picked him up and he was able to take hold of the warrior's soul. He pushed Tokeh to attack everyone who slighted him, eventually taking control of his mind. Tokeh's new thirst for blood came to the forefront when a stray spell by their ally, the mighty Bavon O'Sullivan, hit Tokeh and drove him to attack the frail gnome. His allies were able to knock him unconscious, and Bavon O'Sullivan studied the blade until he was able to banish Nixon's soul from his Othlesti prison. Yet still Nixon would not move on, his hatred for the MacMillans and the O'Sullivans driving him forth and coalescing his soul into a dark wraith.
