Snow Elves

Snow Elves are a subrace of elves that are born in snowy climates. Their bodies are naturally attuned to the natural snow magics that roam The Wilds and are able to cast frost spells innately. Their bodies are also accustomed to colder temperatures, high altitudes and they have an innate knowledge on walking across frozen surfaces like frozen lakes. Snow Elves have a culture in hunting and gathering in cold climates and the tradition of hunting is known to nearly every snow elf.

On Ropaver-Quan, Snow Elves hail from the northern lands of Pruinia where they live in their own secluded households all across the land with the central city of Paloma.

Biological Traits

Snow Elf body temperature is 42°C and due to this increased body temperature, they are able to withstand more arctic climates and are able to withstand temperatures down to 0°C without clothing and with the appropriate clothing down to -28°C. This increased body temperature is a detriment to Snow Elves when they enter more dry and sunny climates as a Snow Elf succumbs to heatstroke more frequently than other Elves.
