Grand Paladin of the Order of the Flame

The head of the Order of the Flame, grand master and generally scary person. The Order of the Flame are the only people to wield the Sun Weapons, which are legendary artifacts from the dark times before the migration. S/he as total control of the members of the Order, and can assigned them duties as their see fit, from bodyguarding an individual, or to stand watch over the smallest church within the city.

Qualifications

No offical qualifiactions required, no one knows how members of the Order of the Flame are chosen, other than every so often 2 members of the order turn up and stand at either side of the potential acylote, and any true memeber of the Order can become Grand Paladin, either the lowest of the low.

Requirements

Ability to wield a Sun Weapon, which burn any unworthy of such honour.

Appointment

Assume to be chosen by the senior members of the Order the Priors and Knight Commanders but no one knows for sure.

Duties

To uphold the honour of the Republic to defend all against the darkness that is always waiting in the shadows. and to be an pargon of virtue and duty, and To protect the innocent, the weak and defend against the corrupting influence of the dark brethren of the Chained and the Reviled

Responsibilities

To guide, train and assign duties to Members of the Order. and to stand judge over any dark brethren of the Chained and Reviled.

Accoutrements & Equipment

A Sun Weapon, not always the same weapon, as they usually wielded one for years before become the Grand Paladin, the finest Plate Armour created by the greatest armoursmiths within the city. A surcoat of pure white with the sun emblazed on the chest.

Grounds for Removal/Dismissal

Impossible, unless their agree to retired.
