Kimmy is a Halfing Reporter, she a littel over exuberant and the curiosity killed the cat proverb really is truthful about Kimmy, she is curious to a point that one day it will probably kill her, unless she gets some sense of self-preservation, but until then she finds herself in some very interesting places and dealing with some fasicating groups.
Early Life
Kimmy wasn't born in the City, and is actually an immigrant from the world of Pathera, not much is known about her homeworld, its a place that is difficult to get to, as its only accessible via Celestia or the Hunting Grounds Divine Realms, no one sure how Kimmy and her family made it, but her father is an Archmage, and it seems may have had some contacts with the Crystal Tower before arriving in the City, but no one really knows. Kimmy was very young when their arrived and her father setup shop in the District of Westmarches, as a provider of magically elixirs, enchantments and specialist items. While her father tried to teach her the arts she didn't have the attention span to learn complex rituals and arcana symbols to practise it, she was a lot more interested in the going ons around her and with people. Many people would maybe call her nosy and an irrating child, but she just liked to know what was going on.
Her father decided to apprentice her to the Sheets, so her curiousity and interest in everything would potentially earn her a living by writing about what she discovered, her master was an independant writer who done well for himself with a number of big stories about corruption and double dealing within the Fulcrum and number of traders coming into the city and certain declarations being missing or wrong. Kimmy learnt a lot about investigative reporting.
Later Life
Once her apprenticeship was finished, she carried on selling articles about the people and organisations within the city, both the good and the bad, she writes about the gangs, the cults and the organisations so the general public get to know the people that keeps them safe and why those on the other side do what they do, to all the different sheets.
So in the last year she got involved in the Armed and Ready discovery of the massive fraud at the City Bank and the half a million dragons being stolen by Dagult Aerani. Her stories included the recovery of the money, murder and politic intrigue, as well the person stories of the Armed and Ready Adventurers. She also got an exclusive story from them when they went into the Nine Hells to Rescue the City of Cindercliff of the world of Kalaen. Due to those stories and the personal slate about the people involved, Kord offer her a long term contract to report on the Great Expedition, which she took wanting to get out of the city.
