Rachel Danrai, 3rd daughter of
Sealord Marco Danrai, show arcane power from a young age, and unlike a lot of the high mages of the tower she isn't a Wizard but a Sorcerer, one natural born with the gift of magic. She took the name Whiteeyes to distance herself from the
House Danrai, to now show favouritism towards her old family.
Early Life
Born in the year 2919, she shows signs of arcane ability within her first 6 years of life, and her father saw great potential to have one of his children within the Crystal Tower, so he went to the Tower and requested help in training his beloved daughter to protect her and others, she was taken as a student by Archmage Conrad Daglan, one of the high mages of the tower, and seen as a great master of the arts and also a sorcerer like Rachel. She grew up in the tower, soaking in the culture, and believes of the mages within. Less and less a Danrai and more and more a Crystal Mage. While she visited her family throughout her childhood, she was more a child of the tower than of Danrai.
Later Life
In her teenage years, she was already dedicated to the Tower, and a Sorcerer of Great Power, its during this time she changed her name from Rachel Danrai to Rachel Whiteeyes to step away from the birth house and the politics of the Great Houses of Bavo'sand. She succeeded at the The Test of Truth and Heart at her first attempt at 17, one of the youngest to try and succeed in the test.
Once she steps out of the test and took her mantle as a true Crystal mage, she showed great interest in the Gate's Magic and how to create them and the paths between them. She absorbed the arcana and scientific knowledge required for them. So when the great expedition requests Crystal Tower help to build a path between the Expedition camp and the City, she was the obvious choice to take on the role of gate-guide at the camp's end.
