Ionia is the famed Chef and owner of Baconian Delights, The Draconian City's most famous smokehouse.
Her childhood was surrounded by a family tradition of butchery and culinary arts, giving her the upbringing enabling her skills as a chef to grow. She would establish Baconian Delights after coming of age.
After the conquest of Sovereign, Commander Maximus celebrated his victory by commissioning Ionia for a meal for him and his men. He was instantly enamored by her culinary prowess, and had Ionia become his personal chef for his personal guard.
While initially a boon for the chef, it was no secret among the ranks that Maximus would frequently make sexual advances towards her, none of which were ever returned.
It is rumored that Ionia turned against the empire on the night before the capital was sacked, as she prepared a great feast for the men by Commander Maximus' orders, and his many of his troops became ill with food poisoning by morning. She was nowhere to be found and much of her belongings had gone missing that day.
Several months after the sacking of The Draconian City, Ionia would reappear in Sovereign, establishing Baconian Delights once again as the continent's greatest home for Draconian style cuisine.
