Responsibilities

We safeguard the economic and business interests of Beckettville. Through our two divisions we take responsibility over budgeting, accounting, money and debt management, auditing, investment portfolios, bill collections, and much more. In an effort to provide better financial support to the citizens of Beckettville, we have opened the Bank of Beckettville.

The Bank of Beckettville

We are proud to serve our citizens through the Bank of Beckettville, now celebrating 130 years in business. Our customers enjoy a multitude of services, including personal and business banking, credits cards, and more. All citizens are automatically enrolled in our services.

We meet with the citizens of Beckettville every Tuesday starting at 9:00am sharp. Forums are held on the first floor of the FinTech Center, conference room B.

Dawn Wyatt

Financial Director

Mrs. Wyatt has been the head of the Financial Department for over twenty years, previously working as a personal accountant for Mr. Hiram Beckett. She has been essential in the redevelopment of the Financial Department's progress programs.

Accounting & Budgeting

On top of running the Bank of Beckettville, Accounting & Budgeting also oversees all financial reporting, payroll, prepare operating budgets, and other necessary accounting services for the city of Beckettville.

Billing & Collection

In order to keep Beckettville running, Billing & Collection deals with taxes, taking payments, fee payments, and city services debt. As long as they are paid on time, you will never see a member of Billing & Collection.

Our Department

Our Budgeting Plan

One of our major tasks is balancing the Beckettville Budget. Starting in the beginning of the year, the Development Department sends agents into the city to collect any last-minute data from our citizens. By March we have collected all necessary information and begin compiling proposals, requests, reports, projections, and amendments for review. After multiple budget workshops, all important data is assembled into a finalized document and put into effect at the start of our fiscal year, October 1st.

Due Dates

All bills are due on the first of the month by 5:00 pm in order to avoid any late fees. All bills become delinquent once 20 days from due date. Failure to pay late fees will result in a visit from the Billing & Collections Department.

Ways To Pay

All citizens are automatically signed up for auto-payment through the Bank of Beckettville. If you would prefer to pay before the due date of a bill, you are more than welcome to pay by mail, phone, or in person at the FinTech Center.
