Additionally, members of the congregation may decide to devote their lives to the cause and join the Clerics. The Clerics travel the country and spread the word, helping where needed and reporting back to their home Priests and higher-ups about what is currently going on in the world.

Culture

The members of the Natural Order of Prosperity Eternal are dedicated to preserving nature and vow to never live outside of the means of what god has given us. They value animals and plants and work hard to keep from decimating any populations through excessive hunting and gathering. Many of the Prospers have lush gardens that they cultivate year-round, working with the changes of the season to cultivate the maximum amount of harvest possible, and collecting seeds and cuttings for next year's planting in order to continue on the life gift of those plants. Many families have been using the same seeds and cuttings for generations, often holding a belief that the harvest from that year is a direct reflection of God's attitude towards their activities for the year. A plant that yields a good harvest is also believed to be the best candidate to yield the seeds for next year's planting to guarantee a good harvest.

Public Agenda

The Prospers wish to spread their religion and reduce overpopulation as a way to control humanity's impact on nature. They can often be found lobbying for stricter population controls, the reduction of polluting processes, and the emphasis on farming over hunting and gathering.

History

In 247 the Followers of Purity was formed after the Seed of Progress prophecy was found. The church was prosperous until 954 when the great split happened. The church became divided over the interpretation of the prophecy, some believing the interpretation to be literal while others believed the interpretation to be more metaphorical, simply emphasizing the importance of preserving nature to the fullest extent.
