Personal history

Born to clan Mistress Masahiko Masami, Leader of The Monodari Dynasties, Masahiko Jun lived the life of a well cared for courtesan. While there was only so much his mother could do to protect him, once a male is born in a matriarchal society thier lives are no longer theirs to control. Raised from a young age to adulthood, Jun would go under the training to become a royal courtesan. To entertain, seduce, and lay with his mothers allies, courtiers, and even her enemies. All in the name of court politics, trade deals, favors, and eventually, an alliance between his clan and another. Though that wouldn't be until much later, as where there is a disheartening path before him, there are lights in his life that even outshine his mother. The Teacher, who taught him not only the skills required of him, but even to paint, to express his emotions through art. The Warrior, a servant of his clan assigned to guard him, a friend that showed him that there is more to the world than just court politics, and maybe even a love unknown.
Sadly these lights would begin to become overshadowed by the politics of his clan and his own personal duties. An alliance, for two clans to become one, between the clan Kasanagi. Between Motoko Kasanagi and himself, because even though he is treated as a courtesan, he is still a male of his mothers bloodline. Fit to marry and continue his mothers line. This ultimately broke his heart. Jun understood that one day he may marry one of his mothers vassels, securing their loyalty to her clan. At least then he would still be home, close to the ones he loves. But to marry into another clan entirely, he would be forced to move away from his home, his family, to rarely see them again. This was the last straw. At the age of 16, the day of the widding, between his transit to the ceremonial grounds from his home Masahiko Jun, prince of clan Masahiko, royal courtesan of Gixung City, disappeared. None know where he went, rumors say he was claimed by Tamamo No Mae herself due to his unique skills and beauty. Others, a yokai with great control of fire, coveting his bloodlines control of fire. Or the orcs, though that last one was laughed off. Ultimately though, they were all wrong and none of them knew it. After all its bad luck to see the betrothed before they reach the ceremonial grounds and the only one to know where the betrothed would be at all times would be the best woman, to protect him after all. It was simple enough to trick the woman who was meant gaurd him with "drinks to celebrate" and ample amounts touching. The hardest part of Jun's plan was completed after she fell asleep after a long night of "celebrations". And with only the skills of his Teacher, magic at his beck and call, and the "face" of his guard, it was easy to walk away in-between his own ceremonial procession. Honestly, it gave him a chuckle once he made it to the Dwarven holds he heard so much about. The people who were meant make sure that he got to his destination safely, were essential to his escape. Giving a short bow to his home behind him, with a self depreciating smile, Jun left his home.
Walking through the halls of the Dwarven holds was kinda fun, if you have enough money that is, luckily for him gold in a bag look like breast if positioned correctly, as his guard was... well-gifted. So going through their lands, while expensive, was pleasant. He even got a nice cloak that goes well with his clothes from the merchant that had given him a ride to the borders of Beirun. Reaching Springhill, a town located in-between Pelinoor and Stonegaurd Keep seemed like a perfect place to gather his bearings. Close enough to notice the sudden increase of Kitsune if they think he went west, far enough to have time to run away if the merchant that gave him a ride sends him a message. Jun gave him alot of gold to make sure he does that. Finally making it to Springhill Jun would need to find a job. Hopefully something in the court of a noble. Over the next 5 years Jun would make new friends in the form of a bartender, a butler that he serves the baron of Springhill with, and a priest of the local church. They would be the cornerstone on how Jun survived in Beirun, teaching and taking care of him. The Butler would teach him proper protocol on how to interact with these lands nobles, humans they may-be but still worth a modicrum amount of respect. The Bartender would offer to drink with Jun, help him forget his home, just be someone willing to listen but not push. And the priest would help him overcome his fear of women, slowly, Jun has gotten to the point where could at least hold a conversation with them without flinching back in fear if they approached him. Overall Jun's time in Springhill was a time of healing, a place to rebuild himself, one piece at a time. Though it wasn't meant to last, Jun had realized something in the form of slavery. While he never liked it in the Dynasties, in Beirun, far away from home it had struck him suddenly, it sickens him. It's reminds him of home to much, all the bad memories their, being forced to do as others wished. Jun quickly tried to put a stop to it, imploring his lord to ban the trade, it didn't work. He tried to help the slaves escape from those that hold them down, they were treated worst for their efforts. It all came to head one night while trying to do something to help them. Jun had gotten captured by the slaving guilds, drugged by them while negotiating for the release of some slaves. He had caused to much trouble while asking around and had cost them some of their revenue and "looks exotic" so he could go for a nice price. That night while being held Jun had discovered his proficiency for fire, and with it he had killed 5 people, freed those being held captive in the same building as him, and burned two buildings down to embers.
Once again it was time for Masahiko Jun to disappear once more, this time even further west. Using the resources from his time in Sprinhill and going as far as Cear Wyndigan. Uncontrolled territory and a safe place from the authorities. He had remembered that the Bartender had a friend over here that was part of a band of mercenaries looking for people to join. Hopefully they are looking for some who thinks before getting into fights.
