Epitaph on the Cenotaph
The Clock Tower in Admirals Yard was built to commemorate the destruction of Weston.
The Lord Admiral has proposed a restructure of the tower to include a memorial stone ahead of the centenary of the disaster, effectively making the clock tower the official cenotaph of all the villagers who died. The Admiral proposes that the following text be inscribed on the western face of the tower as an epitaph to the memory of the fallen:
"Dedicated to the memory of the good people of Weston, for whom time now stands still".
