Stonecrab

Name: Stonecrab
Location: Bodmany Desert
Description: Hidden under its broad shell, the Stonecrab appears to glide over the sand. It settles down onto the sand during the hottest part of the day, collecting the moisture that evaporates from the sand in its shell. The shell itself resembles a stone, giving the crab its name and forming its main defence against predators. However, should it be flipped over, it can die relatively quickly from dehydration. Moon Fox have been known to do this and eat the crab flesh before it dries out.
