Grace Bralgar was a holy knight of Mount Celestia, he was one of the most recognized aasimar paladins of the area, and he as a result of all this recognition, he was very prideful of that and his pride overwhelmed him, when he was 13 years old he was a commander of a small squadron in Mount Celestia, and most people were pretty jealous of that.
So one day a group of thugs tried to overthrow his spot by setting up a scene and try to kill him while he was protecting a decoy actress playing that she was getting stolen by those thugs, after that Grace unleashed his fallen Aasimar power and scared the hell out of those thugs and the decoy actress, after this his secret was revealed, he seeked out Dura which is the messenger of the mortal world, and she suggested that he lives there instead of his actual plane, so that people wouldn't get jealous of his position as the Commander of a squadron.
So Dura sent him down to the material plane to Gauntlgrym to train with the Commander of their army.
The Commanders of Gauntlgrym were really surprised by Grace's potential and they were really open to learn about the paladin's oaths and how they would protect anyone who is in need, they also despised Grace for his Pride since he was really prideful for who he was.
One day Grace was Called from Bruenor Battlehammer the King of Gauntlgrym to take on a mighty quest!
