The Tribes of the Badiya

Structure

Each tribe works only within itself. In The Land's tribal hierarchy, the Chief leads, supported by the Shaman's spiritual guidance and the Warrior Chief's defense prowess. The Elder Council provides wisdom, while the Huntmaster secures food. The trade ambassador manages the limited external relations, and a mediator resolves conflicts, ensuring the tribe's cohesion and survival.

Demography and Population

Most of the humanoid population of the Lands are humans, however they are clearly affected by the Lands themselves, having very lightly colored eyes, bronze-tan-shimmering skin, and smooth silky raven-black hair. However, the vast majority of the tribes people, regardless of gender, cover their hair, to keep it safe from the sandstorms. Hair is seen as one of the most important parts of a person, and cutting it causes dishonor. Banished people or those that have brought dishonor on their tribe are forced to shave their hair if they even wish to have a chance at redemption.
