After a secret raid from a group of Lizardfolk trained in Heartglass, Sseth's Avatar in the Temple of Abydos was slain and destroyed. His soul remains well in the Abyss, however, his Avatar form will not rejuvenate until the year 1012.
This was part of a bigger ploy to invade Abydos, however, Ikla Toahlees was able to push back the Lizardfolk singlehandedly, and planned to create a peace treaty with the help of Voroth Nola-Kamune.
