Capital of the kingdom of Alir
For generations this mighty fortress city has been the bastion of protection for Alirians against the otherworldly horrors that live in the wilds. Generations of royal families have gathered here for a consensus each winter and summer, bringing with them new laws and improvements to the thriving city.Demographics
A melting pot of races from all over the world including dwarvish smiths from Agroth and elvish jewelers and artificers from the Western side of the Spine Of Embers.
Government
A ruling party known as The Five Mortal Houses govern the city. Gathering every winter and summer to hold the Grand Consensus.
Defences
Militia of guardsmen payed for by the royal houses and citizen taxes. Organized by an appointed High Guardsman.
Infrastructure
Three Tiers
The first tier of the city is where the market district lies where folk go to purchase and sell goods and services for gold and to trade with sailors and traveling dwarvish smiths from Agroth and elvish jewelers from the west.The Second Tier
This tier is reserved for the more well off citizens as housing is not cheap and the grand theater and Arena are located.The Third Tier
This tier is where the three ruling houses that live in Alirs Deep are located, house Astrea, house Ebonhull, and house Ballast.Geography
Located the the southeast of the Sablepine woods and south of the town of Rotfen. Surrounded by pine trees and about 30 miles from the base of the Spine Of Embers.
