Tiefling (tee-fling)

Tieflings are a bit of a social taboo. While most people won't hold their lineage against them, there are still stigmas and prejudices against them. Newer Tieflings, such as someone who has a direct parent or grandparent who is a demon or devil, may resemble that entity strongly. Young children have been known to fear these newer Tieflings. However, the farther down the lineage goes and the more mixed the bloodline gets the more the demon blood gets diluted. While they never lose their horns and tails, most Tieflings today can resemble any species.

Tieflings are fiercely powerful and feared. They are chaotic and unpredictable. They are known to have mischievous personalities and young Tieflings can be little tricksters. Despite this, Tieflings are not an evil species. They tend to act just as anyone else in their home culture does.

Since demons and devils have been known to sow their seed without much preference for one species over the other, Tieflings can be found in almost every species. They don't see themselves as one race and will adopt the cultures and customs of the species they grow up around.
