Tieflings

Tieflings of Belthuran share an unfortunate view in the eyes of most of the other peoples of the world, one of fear and hatred. They often find themselves easy scapegoats for things going wrong in an area even if it makes no sense for them to be the cause.
There are different types of Tiefling based on the origin of their fiendish heritage.

Fahvor Tieflings

Those who can trace their ancestry to a devil or a person who made a pact with a devil are known as Fahvor.

Baaphoran Tieflings

Those who can trace their ancestry to a concubus, which on some level means they are related to Baaphora itself.

Drelvaki Tieflings

Those who can trace their ancestry to a demon or a person who made a pact with a demon.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Tieflings of any variety are largely based on the mortal race that was the mortal parent, and the Tiefling traits may in fact skip many generations which often comes as a surprise to seemingly normal parents producing a Tiefling. This surprise is often not met with understanding in many places they will kill the offspring in those places where religion holds more sway the parents are often put to the stake and burned.
Tieflings have certain traits in common but the particulars will often vary, those that are most common among Tieflings is that they have horns, tails, unique eye color, eye shape, hair color, and skin color. The particulars of these traits depends on the type of ancestry they draw from and are often bizzare to the parent race. An example might be a human-Tiefling will end up with cloven hooves for their feet, while a Centaur-Tiefling might have paws like that of a large predatory cat.

Fahvor Traits

Fahvor Tieflings have a few unique traits that include serpent style eyes, forked or pointed tongues that are at least twice the length of a normal member of their parent race. They are lend themselves to lithe builds that show little muscle but does nothing to limit their strength.

Baaphoran Traits

The most common traits include cloven hooves, and fur covered legs not unlike those of a Satyr but usually having two tones the more prominent a darker color such as black or dark brown and and lighter more varied color. Long horns that either curl in circular shapes to the sides of their heads or extend back and spirtal, and in some cases a goat head. One of the more strange traits of Baaphoran Tieflings is their eyes, while some have those that resemble a goats most have that horizontal eye where the pupil take a shape more like a symbol, the most common being one that resembles two curved 'E's facing opposite directions with a narrow line connecting them, the number of these 'points' varies as well.

Drelvaki Traits

Drelvaki Tieflings have the most aggressive of traits including claws, their top row of teeth being fangs often at odd angles, bony ridges over various parts of their bodies, and even spikes.

An example of a heavily influenced Drelvaki Tiefling uses a Centaur as the parent race. Equipped not with hooves this demonic spawn is armed with the paws and more importantly claws of a large predatory cat, flesh akin to that of cooling lava, bony ridges over the body with sharp ridges jutting forth from the legs and spine of the Tiefling. A crown of numerous horns rising from its skull with a tail as thin to be mistaken for a whip.
