Emperor De Ro

With the end of the gnoll campaign, Emperor De Ro returned to his city. A city that found itself under the rule of Avalon, who seemed to be holding together everything together but just barely.

With the arrival of Emperor De Ro the City and thus the empire held its breath. The rumors had spread that the emperor or the former general was gifted with power. That it had been his secret to the wars. Yet they didn't know if this was entirely true.   Those of magic blood held their breath and waited to see what kind of emperor would step forth and what empire would lead forth.   De Ro being of some Elven blood and of a sorceror's bloodline found himself in the middle of the issue the city had been fighting internally over for the length of the war.   Avalon had held together the city, and had done it well. Yet it was his city not Avalon's to take care of. Avalon was due a break now if but for a period of time. De Ro Emperor of the Western Empire, stood before the crowds and announced his plans. He spoke fairly and justly to the crowds, lest they misunderstand.   "The People of the Empire are its blood, without each and everyone of you, the Empire would not live on. Thus it is of great honor, to announce that those of elven blood, whether mixed or not shall face no discrimination due to their race/bloodline. I hereby proclaim them citizens in full and proper regard. Where there is concern it will be addressed, those that are mixed are not learning the ways that had been taught but by new method thought of and created by the folks that stand here today. Today we shall learn more about each other and the world. We shall learn about what is out there, how to protect against it and how conquer the lands it held.   I say now to you farmers and merchants. The magics will not affect you and your ways of life, forgeries will not flood the market and crops will be cultivated by the people. While some cash crops might face magic yields it is but for the good of the empire.
