Market Day
Each Sunday, anywhere from one to three merchants from the various sovereignties stop in Ingress to buy and sell goods as they make their way to another sovereignty. Only a portion of their goods are sold but much profit can be found within Ingress for those keen to find it. All items are either bought and sold for Silver or are traded for and each sovereignty is known to stock unique or specific items or materials that can only be found from their respective regions.
Some merchants will purchase items or materials for more or less depending on where they originate from due to the supply and demand of their sovereignty. Each season has a different caravan schedule so learning this schedule and knowing when the right caravan will be rolling into Ingress is the key to maximizing profits or seeking out unique and rare items or materials. There is no reason to hoard your silver otherwise, so you may as well spend it on something that will be of use to you in the future -- better to have something but not need it than to need something but not have it!
If your character has the Thief Trait then there will be a unique box in the tavern with items that can be stolen. You may only steal one tag from the box and stealing successfully simply requires you to not be caught while you interact with it. Therefore, getting there first can be quite beneficial -- as the old adage goes, the early bird gets the worm!
