Ho-Gun's brother was his faithful companion, his best friend, and closest confidant. Just before Ho-Gun travelled to Anghor, his brother, Machu-Man, told him he must leave on a quest of his own. Saddened, Ho-Gun bid him farewell. Little did he know, they would never see each other again.Ghostly Vision
Amid the incantations during the Feast of Lemuralia, Ho-Gun attempted to rid the house of spirits, and before long, all color drained away from the room, and only a sheen of red glistened throughout the space. Suddenly, a deadly calm voice asked him: “Do you know how I was slain?" A a ghastly image of Ho-Gun's brother hovered in the air. "Drawn and quartered and dismembered for the amusement of the masses! Do you not know the evils of the North? I lament my death. I was captured by agents of the shadow and brought to the far north of the Fodorwaith. I am now the spirit of vengeance, of defiance, of death! Do you wish to avenge your brother’s murder?" Ho-Gun then swore his fealty to his brother's spirit, and accepted a quest of vengeance and blood.Benefits of the Dead
Machu-Man yells his howl of vengeance and offers Ho-Gun a chalice of blood.
