Spirit of the Dragon

Character Reflection

Vandre the warrior and defender, came into possession of the missing scale of Smaug, the great fire drake from the north. Since this time, he has felt the growing presence of the shadow on the very edges of his thoughts, and they have perhaps begun to cloud his vision.

Ghostly Vision

A giant dragon, unlike any he has ever seen, appears before him. He is Glaurung — Father of Dragons, slain by Túrin Turambar. First of the Uruloki, the Fire-drakes of Angband. He speaks to Vandre in a language Vandre doesn’t know or remember, but yet he can understand it. The Dragon asks him if he wishes to know what it means to be committed to the dragons, to be one with them? He asks Vandre if he can remember anything before becoming obsessed with the Dragons, his mother, his father? His life before Anghor? Is it not time to begin your larger quest?   Is his past being erased by his obsession? Perhaps it is time to give over to the dragons. Answers will be found, some sought, others unknown, in the Crypt of Stojanow.

Benefits of the Dead

The ghost rose to the ceiling, burst into flames and rained sparks, as the room’s temperature heated up, and the party began to sweat.

Dragon's Call:

Vandre now takes 1/2 fire damage from all sources, magical or physical - and gained +5 Darkness Points
The dragon swooped once more lower than ever, and as he turned and dived down his belly glittered white with sparkling fires of gems in the moon—but not in one place. The great bow twanged.
